Stripped screw with Gargoyle style fix :)

Of course I get this idea just before my stainless steel inserts and tap get in

Mod consists of a 6/32 pem stud about 5/8" long, and a 6/32 brass knob bought at Home Hardware. Remove the body and drop the stud into the front grip screw hole from the inside of the breech. Once it's sticking out of the bottom, grip that end in a drill and spin the drill using the knurled end on the stud to spin a grove inside the breech so the pem end sits flush inside. This is how the Gargoyle is held together in the front. It works great, looks better

It also potentially makes disassembly trickier, since the frame/valve and rest of the gun won't slide apart. proper thread insert job works great

Nah dude, it looks good! The most practical way is open to interpretation... It provides another option to those in need of a fix.
