Job, the design of the sled/rods/handle on the production gun is quite crucial, since the sled functions as the forward stop for the whole action, including in the lower tube... as such, I've used a very sturdy design. the fronts of the rods are unthreaded, and have a round groove in them. they fit into holes in the pump handle, which has stacked locking setscrews to hold both rods in place very tightly. at the back of the sled will be small screws to hold the sled to the rods, much like the CCM design. to disassemble youd just need to unscrew those two screws.

So the front placement of the rods lock down similar to the AM Illusion, and the back block holds the rods in place using the screws for frictrion like on the T2. Awesome.

splattt, you hit it dead on the mark. although the locking setscrews in the front are stacked, preventing them from backing out. if the handle is delrin they will also be helicoiled (I never install small threads into plastic without stainless thread inserts).

Velocity adjuster completed:

self explanatory. all ready for in-depth testing with reports!

That exaust valve pin is dead sexy. Please say you're going to design your own for the Falcon. Plus... The bucket changer should be of your own design. After all Josh... This is your gun

my valve design is very similar to the palmers, I will likely make the stem in the same fashion. first run bucket changer, for simplicity sake, will be CCI. the less parts we have to make the first time around, the better.

Busted the acrylic pump handle yesterday after I finished chrono, gonna make a new one today outta delrin, likely with double pump arms.

EDIT:

Partway done the new handle, will complete it tomorrow. sucks I dont get field testing time now, but at least it will be built sturdy for WCPW.
