Sweet- keep it to next year, so I'm around to order one. Call it August and you can count on it.

mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

True 3D viewing, as opposed to a 2D efect seems more life like, and less abstract.

Perspective view is just like what your eye sees. The further away something gets, the smaller it is. 3d modeling and isometric views don't do this because then you lose some of the perception of the shapes or features.

I don't use what Josh has, but I don't even know if there is a way to turn it off.

ah right. there is usually an option within Inventor's Studio (which is basically a sub-app 3dStudioMax, with all the same surface/lighting/camera/animation controls, autodesk owns 3DS). for some reason I cant find it though, i managed to create it with a custom camera setting but i prefer a quick solution. ill look around again (or google to see if there is a problem with it showing up in 2011 64 bit)

I'd like to practice the animated assembly stuff soon to build the online manual. I plan to have the coolest manual of any marker ever, my attempt to simulate how my brain looks at these things

It's simple in Inventor, which is why I suggested it- go up to the toolbar for views, you'll see a cube drawn with a smaller cube in it ('orthographic' is the title). Hit the dropdown, and it has 'perspective' as the other option.
Perspective views - Autodesk Wiki Help
Because I REALLY wanna see this.

I don't want to formally commit to buy, cuz I'd then feel bad if I backed out, but if I'm back in the US and not having knee surgery (the two options might be mutually exclusive, unfortunately) then I want one. Serial number... no big deal, really. Unless I can go alphanumeric. But yes, Jack, I saw your thread.

Pardon my thinking out loud, but what about a groove(like a bloodgroove.A runnel I think it's called)between the rows of porting.Would kinda make it look like those old 32 degrees barrels. The name escapes me right now..Whisper maybe?Always did want one.Thought the looked hella cool...their performance thought I know nothing of.

I don't think Ive been this excited about a custom marker since those markers we don't mention from years ago.

or that other one.
