NEW Azodin Rocksteady reg seat

The new Azodin Rocksteady reg seat incorporates our regulator's seat seal carrier and regulator adjustment screw into a single unit, delivering far greater consistancy at the chrono.

Will this be incorporated in the regulators for the current markers as well? Or is it an upgrade to purchase separately?

The Rocksteady reg seat will be included on all regulated markers shipped from Taiwan going forward.

This looks like a good upgrade.

Does this allow for the same adjustment range as the previous configuration?

The reason I ask is because it's a little difficult to get the regulator to output the higher pressures because it starts running out of threads, so if there was a change in the relative threading location, things might get dodgy.

Hopefully you've upgraded the stock o-rings as well...

Otherwise, I'm finding I like this regulator. It performs well and is easy to work on.

There are actually two lengths of lower reg housing (longer as of Nov, 2011) however you should be able to hit 500 psi on either; the newest regs will do 0-600psi.

To answer the question more directly, yes: the new Rocksteady reg seat WILL allow for the same adjustment range as the old seat.

So, say I was planning to buy a Blitz in the near future; anyway to ensure that I get one that has the upgraded reg as opposed to an old stock one sitting on the shelf somewhere?

All stock shipped to store after 4/01/2012 should have the new part, sadly though there is no way other than by asking the retailer to be sure. PM me if you get one that doesn't have it.

Will these regs be available solo like they are now?
