The proficiency engine is actually closer to the supercharger, the PE was released but had issues of breaking the tip of the ram off in the bolt. the supercharger was the fix to the PE and also added a sufficient boost of air efficiency.

Keep in mind; also, that the more expensive marker may not be the "best."

kinda necroing this thread, but I've been busy. I've owned quite a slew of high end markers, including a victory and a g6r (currently have one)

it kinda comes down to how patient you are.

Shot to shot consistancy and feel goes more to the vic. You get less of a "snap" per shot, it feels almost like shooting a mini or something along those lines. But yes, the videos of bob with rediculous efficiancy are not fake, I have been getting results along the same lines (almost a case and a quarter) off my 68 and bore-matched paint.

feel of the marker, I like the asa on the vic better, but the feel of the g6r's frame and reg spacing is just phenominal.

body feel and look, the g6r is so much lighter (yes, I know some say there isnt a perceptible difference. With the g6r vs pretty much anything else, there is). The body of the vic when shooting seems top heavy when looking down the body, but you get used to it.

Looks. preference. I like how the vic looked over my g6r, but TBH, the ripper victory is the best over anything on the market.

take it how you will. I'm sticking with my g6 because of how smooth it shots and how efficiant it is. Dont really mind the body style, but Im still hoping for a ripper body to come out.

Yes, the closer is the rapper with different milling. The internals make all the difference as far as how the gun shoots and feels. Stock engine -> PE engine-> Supercharger engine

Thanks for your input. Great thing comming from someone who actually has/had both guns. The only thing that wasn't totally clear to me on your answer is about the efficiency. Does both guns have the same efficiency or is the G6R better on that matter?

thanks,

Mendel.

g6r wins that category. it's about 25% more efficient.

I think the g6r is better, but you're talking 2000+ for the vic, and 2500+ for the g6r. Both numbers are so far up there that you're choosing between phenomenal and unbelievable.

I haven't shot a g6r yet, but the Victory is the best shooting gun I've ever used, personally.

The ram where it connects to the bolt.

Regular engine looks like this:

Proficiency ram head looks like this:

Supercharger is like the proficiency but with more meat where it connects, that was where it was improved as the proficiency bolt broke a lot.

PE engines will have a Silver aluminium bolt

HE(stock for most gen1 marqs) is black delrin

That is the easiest and fastest way to tell without pulling the engine out.
