Does this one have a detent screw on both sides or is the pic just flipped? Well then again I don't see the feedneck lever either (check the last two pics). Yea I'm a little ocd lol but I still want this thing. Nice splash, you think they could do a funky camo splash?

Nevermind, just seen the name was backwards on the grips.

I'm so impressed with this gun. I traded for Colorado719's MVP and I love the geometry and ergonomics of it. Hard to say why but this gun feels so much more balanced and controllable in my hands than my T2 (which I find back-heavy). The T2 has a lighter pump stroke, but the MVP's is smoother and predictable. It feels as if my VSC Phantom (which is my killing machine) and my T2 got together and made a baby. I absolutely love the fit and finish of this gun and how it feels in the hands. It also is remarkably consistent. So much so that it gives me a higher sense of confidence that my first shot will be on-target.

Is it worth the $700 price tag? I guess that depends on how much value to put on money and what your expectations are. Many people judge a pump's quality by the lightness of its pump stroke, but I don't think you can do that with this gun. It's not a rapid-fire machine gun like my T2 but the amount of cleverness in the design, in my opinion, goes a long way into making this a top-tier pump gun. Taking that into account I do think this gun is worth the price tag. The amazing execution and engineering that went into it justifies the cost.

Bottom-line, I love this gun. I love it as much as I love my T2 and my Phantom. Welcome to the club, MVP!

PS: I've noticed that it has a bit of a corduroy pants rubbing sound when you pump it. Looking into it I attribute it to the dust finish interacting with the roller bearings on the pump guide. I can already see slight anno wear happening. Once that all wears in this thing should be silly smooth, as smooth as I imagine gloss finish already is.

Acutally that noise is due to the corse machining on the underside of the body and the top of the trigger frame where the bottom of the bearings ride. Sanding it down it 1000 grit removed that noise/gritty feel to the pump stroke. mine has a gloss anno and it was the same way.

Has anyone modified the pump rod to make the AT smoother? Im thinking of filling the edge down where the trigger "dip" is so that its more of a ramp. Any thoughts?
