Hey gang,

I just bought a Protege, haven't received it yet.

I've had this odd paranoia along with my excitement, as we know how some internet sales can go. This one has a polished ram sleeve, so it appears silver instead of black.

Is this going to be a problem in any way, or is there just an oring on the outside and nothing to worry about?

I haven't even received it yet but just worried about getting something all funky.

Silver on the inside or out? Bob's guns usually have a pretty good fit and finish for internals already.

It was only on the outside. I'm guessing no effect on performance or leaks likely?

There shouldn't be any affect on the performance if its on the outside.

I got it today, works just fine and dandy. I watched enough maintenance videos ahead of time gave it a fresh cleaning, greasing, and pressure setting. Ready to go when I find the time now.
