where do i begin... how about the axe comment.. take your axe and hold it in your right hand grab hold of a g6r and put it in your left hand and shoot them.. to see what one kicks harder.. ill bet money the g6r is softer and quieter. on to the question the g6r and victory are both poppet markers. many differences between to 2 as far as how they operate that i am not going to go into at this moment pm me if you want further elaboration. i will say i am a bob long fan i have owned everything from the 2k2 timmy to my current 3 marqs and a vice. i personally haven't bought a g6r yet but i do have a ripper victory. as far as egos go i would buy a g6r for way less and get a better shooting, quieter and more efficient marker out of it. if i were to pick either of these 2 markers for a new to bob long i would say go with the g6r as the victory is a little harder to maintain. that being said if you are used to shooting spoolies then the marq maintenance wont be too bad for you. just make sure you either look at videos or talk to the people on here who know the markers to help you out

G6R is a great marker, I shoot alot of paint and I'm yet to have any problems with mine. As for effenciey I'll shoot eight 140 pods plus the hopper on 3000 psi with a 68-4500, and still have some air left.

I have owned one Gen 1 marqs (Marq) and one intimidator (protege). I currently use a v2 victory and love it. Both the G6r and the Victory are superb guns. I personally like the Marq line between the two. Being more comfortable with the marq line I will give my opinion Pros: Closed marker no way for debris to enter the chamber, not a big deal. Once regs are balanced correctly will shoot great Relatively easy maintenance once you understand it Efficient (14 pods of a 4000 psi fill 68/45) Compact for the most part I actually like the smaller reg body I have had great experience with their customer support Made in America Cons: Maintenance can be confusing at first especially when the manual does not come with the gun. For awhile the back cap would stick up when i gassed the gun up (Fixed once i reglued the magnet as it had come loose) Use of a pressure tester (Personally its not bad because you only do it once in awhile for to others it is considered PITA) Pillow can shoot out (especially during dry fire) gun functions fine with or without If you don't put the engine just right you can nick engine orings which leads to nasty leaks. If you get either the G6r or the Victory, Dow55, Triflow, the manual and the proper pressure tester are a must. I can't count the countless people who complain about their bob long guns but don't have a pressure tester or use the proper lube. |

i have owned three marq and victory and now a protege and love them all. the marq line is great, i found it easy to work on once i download the manual for blast website. the customer service is bad if you email them but great if you call, imo. you need a pressure tester with these guns and dow 55 dont let anyone tell you different. marq give a nice small profile and are efficient like poppits (with the supercharged engine) or a little smoother but less efficient with the stock engine. lurker has a spring the works great on the marqs makes them nice and smooth and slightly more efficent. having said that i am just more of a stacked tube gut i like the protege, vice and g6r line more to my liking. the will be a little more efficient and imo shoot smother then a supercharged marq. hope that helps |

Axe's are great guns. i don't own one myself but I have a buddy who I go with paintballing a lot and we're always trading guns. They are easy to dissasemble, quiet, accurate, and feel great in your hands. Besdies going into super complciated internals (Not for this n00b) the only thing I've heard a few owners compare to a g6r is the weight. And trigger, which I love the G6r for....
