Closer breaking paint in the barrel.

Whenever it is below 60F, my Closer with SC engine seems to break pair on the barrel. What are the magic settings/config to avoid this problem?

I've tried lowering the LPR to ~70. Do I need to go lower? Can i adjust the board settings eg BIP to help? Or is this problem unavoidable due to the heavy steel bolt in the SC engine?

If its breaking in the barrel only below a certain temp, its going to be your paint. Either change the paint or barrel.

i would say it would have to be your paint if it is just at a lower temp.. what paint are you using also what is the bore of your barrel.. in cold weather i typically over bore just a little. like if my paint is running .685 i usually will use then a .687 barrel
