Bob Long Dragon Marker Questions

I am considering picking up a Bob LonG Dragon. I have never owned a Bob Long before. Is there anything in particular I need to know about the marker? Are they high maintenance or easy to take care of? What would be a going rate for one on today's market?

Thanks in advance.

Ps I think it's a stock Dragon.

They are basically the same as the other 2k2 or 2k5 timmys (depending on the one you are looking at). The quirks set in on the front block when you have a "2k5'd" body (2k2 converted to 2k5 frame and front block).

I have a 2k5'd dragon that I bought well used. It is relatively dependable. I would leave the stock ram and barbs alone if you favor reliability over speed. Read up on the lube process. It took a while for me to get mine right (it likes thin oil and minimal grease).

Don't let the battery fall out and yank on the wires, which seems pretty common on these timmys. I got most of my small parts from crankwalk on IOG, but BLAST still seems to do a bit of business on the old stuff over the phone as well.

Dragon is a great looking intimidator. Value depends on what year and what has been done aftermarket wise. Not hard to maintain at all, here is the best link I can give you BL Ultimate Sticky.

AKA Fan
I owned one of the first Intimidators off the line... And then lusted after the dragons for years... They were only the second version of the body.

Very cool guns.
