I sometimes see base model 2k2 intimidators up for sale pretty cheap. I know these can be made to fly, but some of them are outright ugly. I looked through the pic thread and only saw a few of the special models there. Is there no good use for them other than adding 2k5 parts?

I think they are great as they are. All they need to fly is the right board. The 2K5 parts make the gun smaller but often take away from the looks since the colors tend not to match up. If the 2k2 has the rounded frame (50/50 clamshell or something like that) it'll probably feel more comforable than the 2k5 frames.

The lower internals should all slide right into tymcneer brass barrel stock. Go from there.

![]() I guess the frame size is the worst of it. Is there an alternate frame (other than 2k5) for the timmy or another common use for the 2k2 frame? It had occurred to me to put something else on top of the 2k2 frame, but I'm wondering about the amount of work required compared to the results.
