I remember people out at the field saying that the gun makes a farting noise that was annoying.

I've wanted to give one a try but around here its CCM heaven.

I agree that $700 is a lot. If it was priced like the Empire, I'd be all over it. I've been tempted to try and trade my Empire for one but the amount I'd need to add I would just head towards a CCM.

This "looks" like (I know it's not), but it looks like a phantom and costs $300 more new.

The pump handle is ok. Some like it, but most don't.

Lastly, and in general, I think most pump players have gotten away from the single tube design. I don't know much about phantoms, but I don't personally see them as being huge sellers in the pump market now-a-days.

I've held one and shot one, but have not owned one. The local guy that owned it absolutely loves it, but says it took a while for him to get used to it. Sometimes trying to reinvent the wheel isn't a good thing. (Think Thumper).
Wait, the Thumper wasn't a good invention?

All good points. Plus the lack of a front reg or gas through or grip or anything made it look silly as well. I mean, it's not Brain Science.

My thumper works great!
(The other two I own, not so much) Lolz

I enjoy cocker pumps because they're customizable.
You can mod them with random parts, and they're pretty much universal to one another.
Getting a gun that you can't flip off the A/T killed any potential love for me.

'Here's your gun. This is exactly what it is, and all that it ever will be.'

There's no conversation, there's no customizing, it's just a gun.
Blah!

(Maybe you can change the grips, on second thought.)

I typically carry one extra tube and give them 1 ball from it.

I'm an *** like that.

I thought the ASA was part of the frame because its air through.

For me the biggest issue was that for a similar price point I could buy the top of the line marker plus some extras from a company(CCM) that specializes in pump and has for a long time OR I could buy the only pump-marker made by a company "fitting in" a pump amongst their other products.

To me the history, focus and customer service from CCM made it a no brainer, so no MVP for me.

My teammate just picked one up he loves it but I just couldn't even get past the grip, the frame felt like it was built for alien fingers, or maybe mine are just stubby...
