Golden Eagle guts

A few years ago I took my Golden Eagle apart to clean and lube it, and took a few pictures along the way. I recently found them again on my old computer so I thought I'd share these pics of the guts of a rare bird:

Exploded view:

Face of the valve:

Hammer, linkage, and bolt compared to those of a M98. All this mass banging back and forth makes for quite a bit of kick:

The old threads are getting iffy, so I was very careful re-assembling it.

Not what I was expecting with that title, but I'll take it.

I've been wanting a golden eagle for years and years. One popped up on craigslist many years ago, I regret not snagging it

Awesome. Interesting how similar it is to the Tippmann system.

The trendy word is "engine". These are pictures of the Golden Eagle's engine.

It's good to finally know that the Stingray was a refinement of something.

FIXED

I have never understood the value placed on the brass chicken guns. The only thing I ever liked in the few that I have owned was the burp of the old cobras when they were shot. Seems like all of them were made of very soft aluminum so the threads would strip out instantly.
