Hey guys I just picked up two nightmares and a splatmaster rapide in a garage sale. Paid $40 untested. Hit home cleaned them all up as they were covered with old hard paint. The one nightmare wouldn't air up and I noticed the CO2 pin hole was sealed up so I punched a new one. Once that was done I aired it up and it leaks no biggie just have to find the o-rings. The rapide and the other nightmare work great. Now onto my question. Both nightmares look like they were supposed to have the feedtubes off to the side but there is nothing there, is that normal? From the pictures I've seen the right side of the breech is usually solid if it doesn't have a feedtube. Is it possible to get feedtubes? They both look like the nightmare competitions one long barrel with a long pump handle the other is a short competition. Both also have the long stocks on the grips. Sorry no pictures right now on my cell Last edited by phizz; 05-22-2011 at 12:57 PM. |

Depends on what kind of Nightmare it is. The original Nightmares were just stockclass, but the Comps had a R/F. Easy way to tell if it's a Comp or not is whether or not it has a 12g cutout, like a dropout changer built into the body.

The body looks like this one where it looks like it's missing a feedtube. Jaguar/Mini II, Nightmare, and 007 but in much better shape and with a quickchange CO2. The nightmare competition I guess but no feedtube. Also has a stock like this BE Ninja Nightmare Last edited by phizz; 05-22-2011 at 10:30 AM. |

I am sorry if this question hi-jacks the thread a little. But the question has connection the the topic here. What is your oppinion is the most likely point of leakage in a nightmare (any version). I have a lot of nightmares. I am having problem with them leaking from various places. Mostly right through the valve due to aged and dry seals, but sometimes in the 12g intake seal. I will try to make new valve seals from PTFE and see if that helps. I also have some RTV Copper Silicone Gasket on tube that I can try. For the 12g intake I was thinking of modding one intake body to accept a CCI style bucket seal to thread right in instead of the original BE puncture plate and seal. However, I'm having second thoughts about that as the 12g intake doesn't seem to be leaking as often as the valve does. Any thoughts on that?
