T-storm barrel damage

I have a BE T-storm, bought online a few years ago as a back up marker. I took it apart today to clean/lube/prep, and noticed some denting and burring on the inside end of the barrel where the balls would feed in. Is this a common thing with these? It seems a little hard to get the barrel into the body sometimes, so I wonder if that's part of the problem. I don't think the bolt hits the barrel.

Sounds like a nice, easy fix, especially since the barrel is aluminum. I'm just wondering what's causing it in the first place, and if there's something I can modify to stop it.
