blue book say $100-200 depending on condition. Probably closer to $200 if it really is nib. Just going by the blue book, don't know anything personally. I would buy it if its anything less than a $100, you shouldn't have too much trouble selling on here.

It must have been sitting on that shelf for 10-13 years? (or, more likely, sitting in a warehouse or backroom). The value on rainmakers dropped when ActionVillage sold off its entire stock about 10 years ago for $100. Since then, $100 has been the standard price for a new, or like new rainmaker. But thats only important if you want to flip it. Wicked fun guns to play with. Essentially they were the first "electro-cockers". Great to tinker with. Very easy to convert to pneumatic-trigger, or even pump. (The base gun is a Sterling/Vector). The HP and LPR are not the best, but trivial to replace.

Yeah, I'm familiar with what it is, i was more wondering what I should be paying for it. And I know it's been there since I started playing bush ball at least... lol. which was like... 8 or 9 years ago now. I remember seeing it then and thinking: "Wow, it's odd this place still has a Rainmaker in stock..."

I live in the backwoods of FL. They have a fully stocked Hunting/Fishing section and even sell firearms. Not that weird for the area. Haha.

I guess Ace's are franchised. If you hate one, don't let that keep you out of another. My local one is great. They try to keep one of everything and will order stuff they are out of if you let them know. Lots of helpers running around that actually help. They did quit carrying the compression nuts I use on my jeweling rig. ![]() Apparently, I was the only one buying them and they expanded their stainless and metric parts bins, so maybe it will work out. I have been to some that seem to just sell grease, axes, and shovels.
