Pneumatic Rainmaker

Just wanted to share some pics of my pneumatic rainmaker! I had seen a few other fully pneumatic rainmakers, so I thought I would try to turn this electro into a fully pneumatic marker myself.

I slaved a clippard smav 3-way valve to an air-piloted 4way valve. Both are are ran by the WGP outkast LPR. I use a T-fitting to split the air. It's a pretty clean look. The stock LPR has been gutted.

This rainmaker has a BMW double trigger, all the Mad Marty Mods, a WGP bull barrel which was ported by Lapco, and a Palmer's female stabilizer. It took a while to get all the kinks out, but it shoots great!

Does it cycle fully with a trigger pull, or do you have to release the trigger to reset it?

you have to release the trigger to reset it. I wish I could figure out how to cycle it with just the trigger pull. Any ideas?

Just gut the stock LPR, and drill and tap a hole on the side of the LPR housing for 10/32 threads. From the main reg, make sure you seal off the port where the air flows from the main reg housing to the LPR housing, otherwise you will still have unregulated air going through the old LPR housing. I just tapped the air hole for 8/32 threads and put a set screw in there with some lock tight. Make sure to lock tight or use thread tape on all threads. It took me forever to figure out why I kept blowing hoses. It turned out that the unregulated co2 was making it's way into the old LPR housing where I had not used lock tight on the set screw.

Ya wouldn't happen to have the old receipts kicking around so you could post part #'s and places you got them from, would ya? Very cool project.

I don't have the receipts, but let me look at the gun when I get home and I could tell you exactly what I used. Some parts, such as the air piloted 4-way, I actually got in eBay!

Very nice, I like it. I've got enough RM and cocker parts laying around, I think I'm gonna make one with a cocker 3 way and frame, probably wont end up as clean as yours tho.

What model # bimba cylinder is that? 041 or 042 maybe? I can get those through work for cheap

A few people have done that with pretty good success. I remember there being a green one around here that was pretty sharp.

I bought a pneu rainmaker a while back... ended up leaking so bad I took it apart and tried to make it electric again. Now it leaks more.
