Old school sterlings use those threads also. Just FYI. Barrels for those are no easier to find but it's somewhere else to look.

The threads are compatible, but the barrels have to be modified so that the unthreaded portion of the mating geometry matches.

So,

ii have machined up a linking pin and am having some problems with the sear catching.

without the the bolt + linkage pin the marker cycles perfectly.
however when the bolt is added into the equation the marker cycles about 3-5 times and fails to catch the sear.

any ideas on what would be causing this problem, i cant hear any leaks

edit:

if i cant get it to cycle properly with the bolt attached, i may just end up converting it into a pump.

Make sure that pin is the correct length. Too short and it could cause binding. the pin could be falling all the way through and catching on the body or frame if its not machine like the original.

If the pin is the problem, I'm going home next week, I do have a stash of random raptor internal parts, I could see if I have one spare. And maybe some other bits if needed. Just cover shipping.
Just a heads up shipping will be from New Zealand.

Im in NZ. Just let me know what it costs

The crucial parts are the pin and the barrel. However if I can get my hands on a duck bill and a spare valve then I could have a valve for pump and a valve for semi

That works out then. NI or SI? I'll be in Waikato/BOP for most of my time there.
I don't have a spare barrelActually thinking about it, I may, depending on what colour you are after, I may have a valve and a few orings. The larger stuff, I would need some $$ for but the orings, pins, valves, you can have, if I have them.

Not entirely sure, it's been about a year since I've seen them. I seem to recall at least one of my raptors (x4) came with an extra barrel.
I have the silver, blue, green and extreme red/black annos. Still looking for the black raptor 2000 to round out the collection.
