Not really certain what my next step will be with it.

Hmm, that's a shame sines. My only thought besides a nice nightmare lamp would be to check and see if it can be bored and sleeved. Potentially expensive, and possibly impossible. But it might be able to be done.

I was thinking of possibly seeing if it could be bored and sleeved, but that would probably have to wait at least until I am done with my flatline 'cocker. Was also wondering if I could maybe melt some solder into the grooves, might be able to get a valve to seal then.

Wow, that is pretty gnarly. Sleeve it or a lamp might be your only alternatives. Maybe it can be bored too. Then use large Orings to take up the gap. The hammer would be pretty loose though

Curious? Has anyone ever tried Liquidmetal in case like this? Wonder if it would work?

He nick named the gun Reggie.

I'll probably mess around with some different stuff, its no good as is so worst case I make it a little messy. All I really need is to get it enough that the orings will seal, which is probably easier said than done. Not a very convenient spot to work with either, no matter how I go at it its a long reach into the damaged area.

Well you can get packs of long cotton swabs on amazon. That might help the reach problem. If jb weld or liquid metal can be smoothed and honed in there, it might seal.

Actually was able to save this! I hit the lower tube with a hone to clear up the rough edges, which worked better than I expected. I swapped in the internals from my SB and after some initial hissing and moaning it sealed up. I'm going to get some proper replacement o-rings, right now I'm using ones from the plumbing store. I have hammered out and re-installed these parts at least 4 times now, the o-rings are starting to get somewhat tore up. At least now I know it is workable, so I just need to put together another set of internals from Bacci to put the SB back together.
