Stingray II makes a come back...

Just thought I would share some pics of the 2 Rays I have just rebuilt, 1 was pretty much done a few years back but the sniper version is one I just built last week.

Yeah they are old school but they still work perfectly.

Both can either use a remote line as I have built in a quick release at the back.
the shorter version has a gas link that connects to the quick release and then to the front where you can see the 12gram cartridge, you can screw in a standard gas bottle there too, I have a slim 7oz one i use.

Those both look awesome! I'll bet it's fun to take them to the field to have kids younger than the gun assume they're the newest thing.

What did you do to make the ASA go straight back instead of angle down as usual? Top notch work!

cutting the ASA adapter

Actually the mod is really easy to do, I just cut straight through the ASA from top to bottom exposing the hole that the top transfer tube that feeds into the valve mechanism joins the ASA, I then just screwed in a nickel 1/8th inch nipple into the hole, the nickel nipples are tapered so a little bit of white PTFE tape and it makes a perfect air tight seal!
I will try to post some photos up for you.

That looks great! This was my first marker. I would have never sold it if I knew it could be modded to look that. Great job!
