timing a RM ...

my rainmaker has some serious blowback. im thinking the "timing" is off. i was looking for the RMOG link to the part that tells how far the ram and carrier and such should be but i can;t find it. i havn;t shot it over the chrono yet (this weekend) so it might just be shooting wicked hot. figured i;d check it out.

I don't know how to time a RM, but perhaps check your velocity adjustment? That thing is REALLY sensitive- perhaps it's out-of-whack (so to speak)?

How did you receive the RM? Can you figure out if it was re-timed by a previous owner? If it wasn't re-timed, then the settings should still be factory standard...
Or did you re-time it yourself at one point?

No problem. Put that RMOG link in your browser so you have it for later reference. It's one of the last BEOG hosted sites that I know works yet.
