| RM regulator cap I pulled my old Rainmaker out of retirement and gutted the reg. I went to Lowe's to look for a cap to replace the stock cap (with the hole in it) but couldn't find one that fit. I've seen them on other Rainmakers and was wondering if anyone knew the thread pattern and size, and/or where I could get one. Thanks. Stik |

| Cap? Do you mean the end cap that comes off the backblock? If so, I don't *think* you'd be able to find something like that anywhere... Plus the back cap is what helps provide the extra valve volume for gas expansion. I believe the instructions on the RMOG site suggest tapping the already-present hole and fitting an allen screw into it to seal it off. RMOG's reg-gutting instructions.

| Yeah, that's it. I've seen several people with caps in place of the original. There's even a RM on the picture thread with one. I'm not too concerned about the loss of volume with a different cap, and I'd prefer to shorten the gun up a little bit. |
