Respect. Guys who still play with stingrays deserve nothing but that. Nice setup.

A venturi type bolt had been put in by my dad... and no haven't replaced the detent yet. the stock bolt will be going back in as they are a little more efficient. Venturi = hype IMO.

other than some hose,ASA to 1/8 npt reducer and a buttplate for the tank... it's ready to rock and roll

See i purchased the bottom line adapter, the bolt, barrel and pins... i told him he could have it when he gave me the bob long cocker cause it's been about a year and i haven't finished the project with the stingray.

Just this weekend he dropped it off and said here... i found the ray for 10.00 and figured you'd enjoy this. he's awesome!!!

I would take a Stingray over any modern entry level semi.

Those old 'Rays were built extremely tough. Sure, we all made fun of them back in the old days as "Stinkrays", but they always work. Perhaps even more reliable then a Tippmann.

They were also built to run liquid as well, with a very robust valve. My only complaint is with the trigger. slop-slop-slop, though entry level guns tend to be that way.

The grip frame was the only weakness in my opinion. Sloppy trigger and hollow frame so that no bottomline can be installed without a block or filling it in.

I agree except for the "Ice" versions. The clear plastic was just terrible.

I loved the fact that it was plastic. When I first started out that made modifying them soo easy.
