i would think that if you do make the adapter, and include the detent, then its all good. plus, i think the bolt will do the trimming of what it wants and what it needs anyway. so it should be all good.

I think the trimming would have to be done from the bottom of the detent, but it wouldn't be a big deal to do that. The material is pretty soft anyway IIRC.

Sort of... the three prototypes are still around... two of them are part of a larger project that has yet to make it past the testing stage.

Is it a near future project? Would be interested if you did make them.

Near future is all relative. Currently the job is attempting to kill me with too many hours and this appears to be on course to stay like this until January. :/

Yeah, sounds like work. Have one demanding job, then another where I make my hours to fulfill my clients needs, was gonna go paintballing this weekend for the first time in about 3 weeks, then a client asked me to work Saturday morning. Maybe if everything gets done fast, I can have me time. I'll keep checking back to see the progress of these. Seeing them gave me an idea for a pump mag that I know want to build.

I think the solution for the detents would be to solder some extra material on to the sides and then drill and tap for standard ULE body detents. They are tries and true. No need to reinvent the wheel here.

Agreed, save the fact that the threads are Angel (I think) and therefore Metric (I think, again)
