I would need one to use as a pattern, as I did not create a drawing of the one loaned to me by KingOfMonkeys.

$45 each plus shipping. I can only make .670, .678 and .685 bores.

Still selling brass tubing, with .678 barrel stock now available!

My feedback: MCB - eBay - AO

You might not like the idea, but I have used red loctite to glue a collar onto an insert for my revolver set. It gives you some flexibility on the tubing IDs that you can use without reaming. I used .675 aluminum, matched the OD and collar ID, and glued them together. I did trim it a little afterward, but it came out very close. The glue held up to trimming, etching, and anodizing and I've used the insert a few times.

If you take a few thousandths off of the OD of the tube for the fit, there's no way it will ever get pushed out from shooting. Some of that skinny tube is hard to hold though. I gave away my first attempt that had three lobe detents.

Nice work!

Thin wall tube can be a real PITA... The collet chuck makes life a little easier.

I would need a bigger lathe, and garage, and A/C....

No 680 in these? That is a gap that I haven't filled yet on that kit. I would take a glued collar on that if it helps.

The garage isn't necessary... Jen allowed me to put my shop in the front bedroom, first floor, of her town house

So I still haven't shot paint thru these inserts yet but they fit very nicely. Ty if you need that ungodly large .690 insert to make a drawing so you can make these for others just hit me up next pump game at Pasadena.

I probably should make a drawing of it. If you don't mind, I would like to borrow it for a while.

I will be at Pasadena on sunday.

The insert worked great today with the small paint we had. Also Ty has one of the inserts to make a drawing from now. Thanks again Ty.
