Search button not working

The button right below the NEW VintageRex banner won't open.

If I back to before the banner appeared, it works.

I've notice the same problem for the last few months.

The search button only works for me if my browsers is open at least 1000 pixels wide.
Any narrower, and the search will not open at all. Used to work fine, even if the menu bar had wrapped, but now needs to be 1000 pixels, roughly

Drove me nuts until I figured that out, since I normally keep the IE/Firefox window fairly small with the 100 other things I'm working on.
