refresh/cookie issues?

I just got a new laptop that runs Vista. Everytime I logon using my laptop all the threads and such are the same as they were the last time I logged on. If I click on a category such as BST I have to refresh it once im in. Then ill click the thread and I have to hit refresh again to get it up to date.

Is this an issue with Vista or do I need to change some settings?

Sounds more like an issue with Internet Explorer and Caching.

It keeps a copy of the pages on your computer to make it faster. Caching was great when we didn't have dynamic web pages... But now that information changes all the time, caching is fine for the images, but not for the information part.

Goto Tools --> delete browsing history, and clear you temporary internet files.

There's a way you can set it, but to stop doing that, but I don't know/remember how in IE...
