I can't seem to upload any images to my galleries. It almost gets to the "add details" page but seems to freeze at that point. I tried from both my work and home computers, both using Firefox.

Anyone else having issues?

Yep, I've been having issues for about 6 months. I gave up lol so I just used photobucket.

Yeah it happens occasionally, then carter does some magic and it works for another couple weeks.

What happens is if you try an upload a photo that is just too big... It won't process. Then it's stuck in the que... So any files you upload thereafter, get messed up and won't process since the first one is still stuck there.

So I have to delete all of them.

Resize your photo's before you upload.

Get them to websize first.

Basically, download a program called "EZ Thumbs" - I love that program. You can do as many photos at the same time as you wish. It will create a "thumb nail" of your photo.... But really, you can make that picture any size you wish.

I set it up so the settings create a picture that 800 px wide, or 600 px wide... whatever I feel like sometimes.

You get a picture that's around 80kb, and perfect for web viewing and sharing. You will NEVER have a problem uploading a picture that size.

If your picture is 2 megs, and 10 megapixels... and you don't resize... It WILL NOT work. I've run into it myself. They just won't process.

Resize them first.

Yeah.. Frink, I just checked the que, and one of your photo's is 1.7 megs

That's just too big. While I set up the program to accept photo's that large, I should change that, as for whatever reason, they are just too big for the program to process correctly.

I'll clear your que (and everyones...) so you can try again.

Roger. I had just noticed a lot of High Res pictures when I was going through, so I thought it was acceptable.

I usually is... But those are also the ones giving the problem.

I don't know why as of yet, and I'm trying to figure it out. Big is one thing.. but monster big... That's where we get into issues.

So once upon a time I was uploading some of my 4 Megapixel photos that I've never had trouble uploading before... and I can only get one of them to upload.

So after searching the forums and reading this thread I guess I need my que cleared please. Thank you much sir.

Is there any way for us to clear our own queues? Once in a while I forget and it's all fubar until you do your purge thing.
