Looking for a game October 27-28th in the Maritimes

I am going to be in Nova Scotia for work next week and was trying to find a game in the area over the weekend. I would prefer something in the woods but I am open to anything. I wil be in Boston the weekend before and since I have my gear I might aw well try to put it to use.

Thanks

Doubtful that you'll find a big game this late into the season. You can also post on Atlantic Canada Paintball on Facebook to see if there is anything happening in the area. http://www.facebook.com/groups/141617395849591/

I would just be happy with open play at an organized field. I need to have a reason to have the equipment in the truck when I cross the border. Thanks for the FB link.

NP. I'm not living out East at the moment but I am sure that local fields will have regular play happening that weekend but the size of the turn out will probably depend on the weather.

I did not find a game for this trip. I did some quick checking at the local fields on the we and did not see anything that jumped out at me. As it turns out I will be working Saturday anyway so that just left Sunday. I sent my guns home with a friend from Fox 4 and I will pick them up on my way home when I pass through Jersey. After doing some checking it appears I was going to have problems bringing my SR1 across the border anyway. Due to its construction it qualifies as a replica firearm.

Now I am sitting in Halifax doing some paperwork and browsing the forums to pass the time. Hoping Sandy stays away long enough to get my work done on Monday and Tuesday

I'm thinking there is open play at Mersey Road (approx 30 minutes out of Halifax) (Mersey Road Paintball) on Sunday. There also should be open play on Sunday at Camp Debert Army paintball in Debert.

I wouldn't mind getting out this weekend, and can lend you a marker if either of them sound interesting. I'm in New Glasgow, so its a bit of a drive to Mersey, but its not too bad.

The SR1 may have presented some issues at the boarder, probably should have been allowed in the end. As I understand a replica fire arm needs to be a 1:1 ratio, and I didn't think the SR1 fit that.

I appreciate the info on the local fields and really appreciate the offer to lend me a marker (we have the best people here on MCB) I think I am going to skip this weekend for playing. Going over admin crap I need to work on I pretty much have enough to keep me busy all day Sunday and then some.

Thanks again
