Adreneline Paintball: The Battle of Ortona

Linky clicky.
Looks like a lot of fun, Adrenaline is a fantastic field and they've always run really cool games. Plus, the Angry Beaver Brigade was throwing around the idea of going to an Adrenaline game, since it's close to all of us, so I'll throw this up as an idea. At any rate, I'm going to try and go, as will Kayne if he can scare up the money.

Nope, I haven't played at Adreneline since...2000? Years, at any rate.

Well make sure you get directions to the new location then. They moved a few years ago. They are in Melbourne now. So many last minute games and so little funds. I'm hoping to be there. Expect to see a bunch of the Canadian UMS members there though.

Yeah, I couldn't remember how to get there if I tried (I was 13 then!). I looked up the directions, it's about 90 minutes from our place (Sure, Googlemaps SAYS 2 hours, but when was the last time you saw someone doing the speed limit on the 401?)

And, yeah, meeting a bunch of the UMS guys would be cool too. A bunch of the 1st CAN PARA guys from OK D-Day that live around here are planning to come as well.

It's easy to find. Hit the 401. Get off when it says Melbourne. Drive about 5-7 minutes until you pass a few trailers selling Native smokes and gas and look for the sign on the left. Make that left and a click later you're there.

The Joy Division guys were great. I felt bad for the one who was all hung-over from the previous night's party.

I'm hoping to be there but I'm not sure if I'll have the cash to do it. I'll see...

Jeez Andry, I wish I'd read this before I wasted my time going to Day of the Dead yesterday.
What a mess.
Brittle paint, crowded disorganized sign up (if you were nefarious, you could have easily gotten in free, which makes you feel like a chump for pre-entering), poor distribution of sides (the dead had to have outnumbered the living by at least 2 to 1), far too few refs (lotta overshooting).
Don't mean to sound like a whiner but it wasn't up to Flagswipes usual standards.
Like everyone else, just looking for my moneys worth.
