No problem. Just make sure you pay close attention to the way the metal feels before you start each step so you can tell when it's even. The 600 grit is really light not long at all. Mainly just to make it somewhat easier to refinish the parts. I did just a few quick passes with it.

Yes! I managed not to screw up my second try at making an extended brass barrel for my Boxgun. Now it just needs a trip to the mill for some porting.

I am hoping to do spiral porting. I am pretty sure I can do spirals but I need to run a test piece first.

It is Tymcneer's .688 barrel stock with a sleeve soldered on so I could thread it.

I already have another barrel with porting that matches the ball slots, I just need to turn it down a little so it fits in the pump handle.

And the threads on the brass barrel are on the back like a normal barrel, but the sleeve was needed because the OD of the brass stock was too small for cocker threads.
