Is the face where the screw is, conical? Trying to figure out how exactly it cams over.

It's round, but where the screw goes into the plastic "cam" and where it goes into the actual plug are both offset so when you turn it, the cam and the plug turn against each other to create a cam effect.

MiniMag with matching Benchmark barrel plug AND "4-Grip" (AutoMag foregrip). I've never seen that before.

Yeah, I saw that last week. Tried to get him to part the Barrel plug to me.

Also, the field I was at this weekend allowed me to use my Benchmark barrel plug the entire day. I used it in my Duck and kept it holstered as well.

couldnt holstering the marker be considered as good as putting a condom on?

Not if the holster is open on the bottom or the barrel protrudes past the holster.

Most fields I've played at will consider a closed bottom holster good enough, but mine is open bottom.
