My cup seal stripped. Where can I find replacements?

I forgot what cupseal Carter uses but I think you can use a lapco. Ask "haveblue" on this forum or email him through his website.

I'd try a CCI Phantom seal.

Those are pretty tightly threaded so you can tap out if necessary. They're also easily available.

I've looked into using the CCI Phantom cup seal and took apart my Phantom. The Phantom cup seal looks more durable, but it will not be a simple modification. The outer diameter of both cup seals (Phantom & Carter) are the same. The issue is the valve collar/retainer that the cup seal makes contact with to seal the air chamber. The Phantom valve tube collar/retainer is smaller than the Carter valve tube collar/retainer. When I align the Phantom cup seal to the Carter valve tube collar/retainer, the brass lip of the Phantom cup seal makes contact with the Carter valve tube collar/retainer.

This isn't a problem. Take a standard metal file and remove enough metal from the perimeter of the Phantom cup that it doesn't interfere.

I do this all the time. Photo:

That's a modified CCI cup. The metal is largely irrelevant. The plastic seal just has to touch the sealing face on the valve nut.

you can try some bonding material like locktite red. jb weld, or fiberglass putty. take your pick. probably not a perma fix, nor anywhere as good as a replacent. but it might help.
