Would a freaked barrel work on a carter?

Was just thinking about this. I usually go the PPS wedgit route with my Carter's, but I don't think he's making the Sanchez type screw in inserts anymore.

I'm thinking of getting a new buzzard. If I could get earon to make a single piece barrel, could it be modded for freak inserts? Wouldn't the carter bevel stop my dream from happening?

It seems like an obvious answer of, no. Could it be made to work?

What if it was bored deeper so that the insert went last the bevel? That way the bolt wouldn't catch it and yank it out.

Was it this one lechooch?

Buzzard Barrel Options

I could also go the route of getting a couple lapco sizers, or the new AKA bottleneck sizers and get them wedgited.

I don't really like the slip-fit inserts.

I love palmers Wedgits though.

how come? Wedgits are cool, but they donb't give you consistency when using varying paints.
