If you really want to jar Earon's memory, remind him about a time when he and Bill Harvey "lovingly" referred to Youngblood as "Youngslut." He may get a laugh out of that. Bill also used to joke about how he intentionally shot Youngblood in the mouth, don't recall if it was rec or tourney, because Youngblood was known to play with only goggles and no facemask. Good ol days...R.I.P. Bill. regards

no lower face mask and in a suit with the elongated barrel from hell - yup that was Dave.... but his story has a fairytale in it too because - he married a paintball princess and went on to start his DYE empire heh whats amazing is with the suit and the huge marker he could still move - there certainly was some athleticism there.... too bad you couldnt have made it out to the TPG day - Earon was having a grand time talking about days past - including some duck history, some tidbits about both Daves, Jessica, Unique Sporting, the topics were so varied over the last few decades lol much <3 for that man much <3 /salute |

Although Earon and Bill gave Dave a hard time, they made it clear he was still highly skilled. He was accused of having an auto-trigger because he fired so quickly and accurately, but Earon made it clear that there was no autotrigger. I asked Dave about the polished gun giving him away and he replied, "the balls are already on the way by the time you me anyway." Even if you didn't see Youngblood, tall with a shiny gun, you could hear his signature rapid fire bursts on his carter. He and Ricky Schroeder were paintball celebs. They played a lot at Conquest in Malibu, iirc. Earon and Bill also fired in 2-3 shot bursts as a habit, and I only ever saw them play 12gm quick change. They moved pretty quickly and silently despite being a bit on the "wide" side. They both also wore the trademark Wire mesh masks. Earon also used to talk about one of the old Kamikaze shooters who used date Janet Jackson, I wanna say it was someone named Manny or Sonny, but I could be way off on that one. regards

When i get this marker in my hands i will have detailed pics to post up and discuss. The guy who i got it from has no clue about paintball. So as to not jepordize this transaction, i will wait untill i get it, then i will ask him about how he came into owning it. I do know it is coming from Florida. I am thinking it would have ties to the teams from that area and age, Terminators, Anihilators, or Bushmasters.

I would like to hear the back story on this marker as there were so few of Termites first markers. Tim Schloss had one that was lost over the years Sam Caldwell had one that has also been lost, his had lefty Tim Stone Grips like Jim Lively's that I posted a pic of. There were not that many made and very few made it to the east coast. RJ |

| Seasoned Member | Attachment 29510 from Master Blasters FB page (hope this is allowed) I want to say that the guy in the back row, second from the left is Termite Smith. Tall, burly guy with Light blond hair and beard. I saw him more with his mask and goggles on though...all the cool guys wore Tiger stripes back in the day. I personally always wanted the Rhodesian SAS, then the Tiger Stripes. Expensive for an 18 year old working at 7-11 back then... regards
