back on target, got it yesterday. it was in excellent condition. very little wear at all. if i had to guess it has less then a thousand shots thru it. all the screws and trigger had a custom shimery blue sparkle nail polish on them. ghetto 1989 custom mod.

it has a left feed block with right hand grips. pretty neat. serial number on the grip is N1002. so is that the second one made from the second run? all the parts have a little #3 stamped on them in inconspicous places. the pump arms have a very faint E and F scribed on them and matching E and F on the pump as well, so you cant mix them up.
so it cleaned up well and other than a missing pump arm screw and the broken power tube, which i replaced, it is pretty cherry. there is cool milling every where. it gasses up, no leaks, however i think i need a different hammer as the sear dosen't catch on the bolt every time. you have to slam it back to catch, and its not very smooth on the forward stoke.

so i contacted the guy who i got it from and he said that it came from a tenant that left it behind when he skipped out on the rent. thats it. it came from the orlando area.

actually, he ended the auction early as i was the only one bidding or who contacted him. his title and description were pathetic. i got it for $100. still a great deal.
so did carter and smith work together or carter just suppply parts?

Markers were made of a mix of parts, Carter made the pistol grips Colin was making the barrels ect.

First time that I have seen serial numbers on one of his markers.
And most could be set up as left or right feed.

Nice find.
