I can counter and say that the newest version of the mini comp is better than the first gen. Earon made it easier to work on. Plus it's more self contained.


And your mini buzzard had a lot of work done by yours truly and about 2 cases worth of me playing with it, lol!

The pink one I held had an equally smooth pump stroke as "ours?" and there was no special work done on it.

Btw, I need to repolish the mini buzzard internals, it is starting to oxidize a bit.

I've messed around with the pink one before. I have pictures of it in pieces at Earon's on my phone. I messed with it at Manny's before I left too.

Now how much more different are the newr minicomps from the ones Earon was making just a year or two ago?

Well this is what was on the last few I saw from him. The bolt has a cutout not holes for the pump arms. This makes it easier to put back together so the arms, if messed with don't have to be perfectly in line with the holes on the bolt. That is at least how it was explained to me.

sounds like a logical approach to what I see as a possible issue where binding could happen.
I bet that allows the bolt to float, as opposed the rigid mounting option. Maybe I'll get a chance to see one soon around here.

The one that I got to mess with didn't have any front to back slop. So it was nice.
