| MCB Member | mini buzzard vs mini comp
I have read the older threads on this topic, but I'd like to hear a few more opinions on it. If you had to pick one which would you choose and why? Now that I have gotten some experience playing stock class and with Carters, which I adore, I have decided to buy just one of these (really, I swear) and wait for the one I want to come available... I want one with barrel inserts, a slide trigger, and extra milling. I currently have and am keeping forever (really, I swear) a super stocker and a box gun, and I think adding the mini comp/mini buzzard would leave me a solid arsenal with a decent amount of variety. Anyway, sorry for rambling... what do you think?

I would go with a minicomp if you you want a solid effiecient 12 gram only gun. Because you already own a superstocker (which can run 3.5oz tanks vertically.) I would go with te mini-comp. However, if you want to possibly run your gun with a bottom line setup, or a 3.5oz tank I'd go with the the vertical Asa buzzard. |

yeah I really only use 12 grams so that's definitely a plus for comp. thanks man

I have an older not mini style BBA buzzard that is pretty efficient, say 40-45 shots in 75*F + weather, they are very close to the same, the only huge differences are the under-cocking on the mini-comp vs side cocking on the buzzard, and the fact that comps only come BBA while buzzards can be had vertical or back bottle.

Mini buzzard for sure, I am a MAJOR supporter of it. Eddaka, the mini buzzard and mini comp will have exactly the same 12g efficiency, if you go bba. The mini comp is not quite as smooth as the mini buzzard from what I have seen. Also I have seen a few issue threads dealing with the mini comp, even eddaka... The new mini buzzards have an aluminum snub and look very similar to mini comps, both are pretty even in price. In all honesty they are not all that different... If you have any questions regarding the mini buzzard, please ask. I just bought my 2nd one.

The minicomp has less parts, debris can't get in the bolt like the mini buzzard, and easier to disassemble. (in my opinion) | |||
