I think not being able to shoot is troubled. You have never owned a duck, technology is the same as any other modern nelson gun, and I am getting sick of your posts in my thread. Keep it to yourself dude, its getting real old.

What is the difference in the pump stroke between a Duck and a Redux?

Very very similar, about the same.

It really depends on the tension of the return spring used and the tension of the main spring you use. The pump stroke back with have both springs resisting you, and the return stroke will only have the return spring + whatever drag is present from the locked bolt/hammer and the slide running over the body.

Obviously a Red main spring in a duck or redux will have a harder rearward pump stroke than a duck or redux with a yellow main spring. I like to let go of the slide once it's fully cocked backwards, and let the return spring do all the work, the slide makes a nice satisfying "CLACK" noise! I then transfer that hand into a pistol grip, it's pretty fast once you practice enough. Of course then I miss my target . Someone who's ****ing good at pumping this way is Demonio, he's a beast.

Also you can use the slide and body dry like I do, or lube 'em good like DSA does, it's all preference.

I always wanted Earon to make me a grooved rail and slide combo (like a 1911's receiver and slide), which would eliminate most of the "wobble", but there might be additional drag from all the extra aluminum in contact with itself. Or..go the bob long MVP route and make a rail with roller bearings, that would be nice! Then you wouldn't have to make a whole new slide, heck that will probably be my next project ...and yes DSA if it turns out good, I can ask if Earon could do a run for reduxes lol.
