| Newbie Join Date: Oct 2012 |  To Carter or not to Carter
Hey i'm looking for my first pump and i've done some research and narrowed my options down to the Carter Sniper or the Azodin KP+. I have money for both so thats not an issue, just wanted to know if the sniper is worth the extra money. Any help is welcome! |

A carter sniper... or an Azodin. Thats like comparing a lotus to a honda.

Hey I love my Honda it's reliable. One of my friends had an Azodin. It stopped working so he took it to the local shop. The owner looked it over, replaced all the o-rings, and tried a different reg. The owner concluded that the Azodin was toast.

If you can afford a Carter sniper then doesn't that mean you can afford other snipers that are not azodin KP+? Say a sniper with CCM or other nice pump kit that are available around here? I am not advocating one way or another, I am just saying if you can afford a Carter sniper then I think you should expand your selection. |

 In all reality, you are in Carter Machine sub-forum, most people will say Carter Machine. Their snipers are very unique and I have never shot one. They are also fairly rare. I do love my CCM S6. Also CCM makes a T2 & a S6.5 (both half blocked) and the J12 (half blocked with internal auto trigger and sealed body) is in the near future.

Carter, though for an open class gun I would get a CCM
