Just got a Loo Duck in, really like the color, feed tube came off in transit, noticed some raw metall under it, so might as kill two birds with one stone and send it to the Tonsixer Shop of Awesome and get it drilled for a bolt...and re-anno'd.

So, how stupid would it be to do a crazy splash on it - or should I get it a color matched anno - I do like the color - it's like a gun metal greenish color

Should I or not??

I plan on using the hell out of this - a wall hanger it will not be. I guess since it will be at Don's anyways, might as well get it anno'd - just really unsure if I should color match it or do a rust oil slick type of anno if possible - the Magnum R7 Josh is building will be anno'd the rust, as will a merlin I'll be sending in at the same time lol.

I think the pump wear on the left side adds character. I'd keep it if that was the extent of it. That raw area though looks awful to me. I like that color, I'd probably have it re-done to match.

If you are planning on using the hell out of it why bother with re-anno? Is the raw strip even noticeable with the feed tube on?

The raw strip isn't too bad, where the bottom of the feed tube would sit you can see it...picture incoming





Oh yeah, I'm red/green color blind...so really I don't know what the color is - looks gun metal green to me hehe

Some times Earon would remove the anno on the older ducks to get the feed tube to mount.

Again if you want to than do it but I wouldn't it adds character and shows all the love it has gotten.

Yeah, that's what I'm struggling with - keeping it original, lots of History with it since it's a Kamikaze Shooter...or say $#%@ it and make it mine.

It will get wet, some of the fields I play on have streams, marsh like areas, and generally wet areas on them - just worried about rust.

It's not too bad with the feed tube mounted. I could look past it if it was going to get beat on, but I try to take care of my gear.

I certainly wouldn't worry about scratching it in that condition, though you will if you send it off and make it pretty.

Oh I don't abuse my guns, but I do planning on playing with it as much as possible, just not in an indoor speedball field as much as outdoors lol.
