How is your sterling inspired carter gun shooting?
It was shooting great until I blow out the cup seal on Sunday. I returned the gun to Earon yesterday already.

As of right now the only way to adjust the velocity is by controlling the air flow, i.e. more air from the tank = higher velocity.

In the future it is likely that the velocity will be controlled by a spring or a regulator is do-able too but it would ruin the look of the gun.

We could use a vsc style valve and use a female stabilizer and run a line from the valve to the reg.

Won't be in grip air but should be more user friendly and you might be able to tune it for low pressure operation and lighter pump stroke.

Rogo man, thanks again. I shot it in the backyard, loved it. A great little gun. Tell him I really like the barrel porting style.

Are there any issues with getting a MiniComp re-anodized?

Oh man, I love the color on your comp... don't change it bro! LOL

And speaking from the little experience I have w/ home-anodizing, the general answer to your question is "no", but just be aware that every time you re-ano anything (not just Carters) you'll loose about 5/1000ths (0.005 inches) of thickness on all parts... the stripping process removes approximately 1/100th of an inch and the anodizing process adds approximately 5/1000ths of an inch... for a total loss of approx. 5/1000ths. Depending on how you look at it (considering the paint-to-bore tolerances to the thousands of an inch we all attempt to achieve these days) it's something to consider.

Note, I highlight "approximately" because there are many factors in the anodizing process that will affect this to include: stripping time, anodizing time, specific aluminum type, anodizing temperature (both start and finish temps), etc... Hope that helps bro!

How long does it take to receive a marker once I order? I am thinking of ordering something in the coming months money permitting.

Depending on how complex and whether or not there are parts in stock. The average turn around so far is about 2 months including anodizing give or take. It typically take earon about 1 month to do a basic gun, longer if you get something unique. His anodizer is a hit or miss kind of thing, sometime they turn around stuff in 2 weeks (rare), other time they take 2 months. They're good, but the anodizer turnaround time is ridiculous.
