I noticed the sterling hybrid has a boxgun/duck style grip frame as pictued here.

Sterlings are automag/cocker spacing for the grip frames if I recall correctly, is it a custom 1 off frame? To my knowledge most carters use standard nelson spacing.

Random question, but is Carter still making Mini-Buzzards with stainless bodies? Or are they strictly aluminum like the Comps are now? I am beginning to miss my old Mini-Buzzard.

Is it possible to get a replacement sear for the hammer on a Buzzard with a Dye hinge frame (not the 1.5 the later one)?

Yes it is possible, but because everything is hand made and not cnc. While I can get you a sear, it may not fit perfectly.

PM me if you want to move forward with it.

I had to ship my frame to him so he could fit it and I'm happy I did.
