Do I NEEED a beveled barrel?

Just wondering if the beveled barrel is essential to using a buzzard. I just got one in the mail today and it come with a titanium boomstick rather than a beveled barrel of any kind. Do I need to find a beveled barrel somewhere? Or will I be fine?

If you use a thinner o-ring on the bolt, you should be alright. The mini-comp and buzzards I had really didn't like if I used other barrels without getting creative.

ok I may try some stuff out, but so far I've been dry firing without issue so I guess I'll have to see how it does over a chrono.

also on that note how is velocity adjusted on one of these babies? All I know is that I need to go through the front end

To adjust the velocity, you adjust it like a phantom with a rod. If you need a rod then let me know, it's $7.50 + shipping.
