My Box Gun is going to be considerably less bulky and less boxy than the traditional setup, as well as borrowing some of the design elements of the Duck. It is done now and should be shipping out soon so I will be posting a nice review.

Barrel kits are also now standard on all of his scratch build guns minus the Duck (three different inserts).

And I also got the impression from him is that he does not like slam changers, for the reason Emert has mentioned. He also considers both slam changers and in-handle changers to not be practical for play. His words (through Lauren) were "in-handle or slam changers make great collectors items, but get a BBA for serious playing".

Well put idfka that is exactly what I was informed.

It is wonderful for collectors pieces though and I would like one... Here is a neat tidbit, he also does not enjoy building ducks. Crazy huh?

For sure. I can imagine they are a pain to manufacture, and it probably has a bit with keeping them an exclusive and nostalgic item.

The barrel kit is a very nice addition and it won me over on the Box Gun (I was leaning towards either a Mini-Buzzard or Redux).

IDKFA, less talking about your Box gun and more showing your Box gun.

If it turns out well then I might need to order a up a copy

I know.

The last pictures I was sent were from August... I hope to get either more pictures or the actual gun within a week or two.

My custom Carter Sniper should be in soon... Can't wait.

Matching Powerlyte Scepter kit and reg will be the icing on the cake... Plus the matching Slider trigger... And a matching Dye hinge... And a matching clamping feedneck... And an external IVG adjuster.

We'll see who wins Idfka hehe

Slam changers more or less are stinky and just a neat gimmick. Dont work well or at least not easily from what I have heard..

He offers barrel kits for box guns you have to ask. He will make them stick out past the front too so you can be a bit more like a CIP SS.

New trigger frames ive seen have a madly over exaggerated hump in the trigger frame. Fix that.

I personally like the boxy ness of the box gun, the one I have rolling around in my mind is going to be all the standard milling with just the addition of the top of the feed like idkfa's, in gloss black, inhandle changer (I like them personally, and I tend to dump twelve grams fairly often with the box gun). It will also have some lazer engraving done, and well I have a little bit of legal whale bone to have someone make grips out off. I'm kinda modeling it off of russel crowes gun "The Hand Of God" from 3:10 to yuma.

I'd like to see what the man could do with a double barrel platform...
