This is what it comes down to. If they will not ship USPS, I won't be sending it back (I might look at a third party... splattttttt maybe? I won't mind if you take a peek. ). I will post up with an update when Lauren gets back to me.

And to make it clear again, this gun really is amazing. The anno cuts, while not perfect, don't detract from it. It comes down to getting it fixed, at no charge, and having it matched perfectly. If not, I won't bother.
Matt. I'd be honored to help.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Very nice by the way.

Do all boxguns take close to 20 weeks? Or just this particular one due to the extra milling? I emailed lauren a few days ago, and plan on purchasing one in the next couple weeks.

I believe I was quoted at 14-16 weeks, but Earon starts his guns in batches. I ordered mine in mid June but he did not start building until early July. The extra milling added 2-3 weeks, the anno process is a good 3-4 weeks (for all of his guns), and there was a family issue on their end that possibly delayed the build slightly. You are still looking at a good 16 weeks, best case scenario.

EDIT: As a thread update, we had to postpone the pump game so the first game test and subsequent review will be posted in a week or so.

I played my first game with it last night, it was awesome. I am going to play one more time (next Sunday) before posting a more comprehensive review. The only deficiency I can identify thus far is the return spring; it really should be a heavier/stronger spring. I missed some shots because the arm was not fully forward or the trigger pull back slightly on it. I am going to play around with the spring before the next game.

A small update. After some annoyance with the return spring and trigger sled, I talked to Myron Seu (Carter dealer in Hawaii) about the issues. It turns out that new Carters really need to be user fine tuned to ensure a smooth experience. While the gun shoots amazingly, the operation was lacking... after a bit of a learning experience into Hawaiian secrets, I am going to modify the sled to fit my requirements.

He is also getting Earon to send up a new return spring and some extra o-rings as spares. Great service all around. I will post up (and complete a FULL review) once I get the issue taken care of and a few more games played. I want this to be a comprehensive review into every aspect of the gun.
