| . | Ducks and Kamikaze DD68 picture/history thread!
Time for a reorg. From what I have learned from a lot of browsing, there are basically 3 kinds of ducks. Original Dave Loo ducks, Carterized Ducks (combination of Carter and Loo parts), and Carter Ducks. This section will be organized by gas source however. First...Shiba-kun's famous timeline Photo:

This is a good idea. We should keep chat to a minimum and keep things organized. Maybe have this as a picture/history catalog with one entry per marker? It is already posted in a few places here, but why not: Carter Box Gun Ordered: May, 2008 Finished: November 2008 Colour: Polished Charcoal This is also the first (I think) Box Gun that Earon has done with the "extended" barrel/pump/top. I asked him to do whatever he wanted with it, so he took an idea he had for a while and went to town. It shoots great. Mine is a newer Carter, of course, but I cannot wait to see some of the old gun history. ![]() Last edited by idkfa; 03-18-2009 at 02:42 PM. |

Hey! Thanks to the Big Man "Mr.Carter" Baby DD-68 ![]() I wanted a DD-68, but the Big Man "Mr.Carter" said ... "Would you like instead a Baby DD-68?" 2002 Baby DD-68 (#5) He stated that it was the 5th Baby he ever made. It's 2 inches shorter than a regular size DD-68. I am very lucky! Angel |

Angel...I think you will have like 15 different posts if we stick to the one entry per marker! Also, I'm curious to see if there have been any ducks made in the last 2 years, I do remember seeing a pic of a gloss charcoal one around somewhere on mcb, but it esacpes my memory at the moment...

There have been a few, I know of the polished charcoal Duck owned by someone here and the copper one with both BBA and slam changer options owned by Myron Seu in Hawaii. I think Myron still owns it, at least. Rodney (Remember the Ronin) has more than a few Ducks (and the Gecko Blaster), and I know he has at least one great story involving a "botched" Duck... |

Wait until Shiba sees this.... he's already posted up the history of the duck and box gun with guns in his personal collection that came from the originators. I did a quick search for the post... guess I could search again. E

Dave Loo's Original Kamikaze DD68 If someone else wants to tackle this just let me know! I don't think I could do an even adequate job of summarizing everything about him and the Duck. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ^^^^ Something that the original Loo Ducks had that Carter's later Ducks didn't have??? Chamber window? This is NOT mine by the way...just some pics I dug up that I had saved!
