New Barrel Kit Questions

I got a mini comp with one of Carter's new barrel kits, how do you get the back off? Looks like I need some sort of tool.

If it has flats you should be able to use a wrench. If for some reason you don't want to, Sanchez Machine originally made the kits, so I believe the tool for his barrel kits will work.

Mine is totally smooth, no wrench flats.

Huh...

Strap wrench, or a piece of rubber? Beyond that, I have no idea. My inserts are like Freaks, and I *thought* the SM kits had tool flats.

I find any old piece of rubber will often work better than a strap wrench (assuming it is not REALLY tight). I have been using an old leather glove to remove my Carter BBAs.

Put a 114/3000 on it. And buy one of Carter's hopper adapters, run a Rotor. Pewpew.
