On top of the trigger? Don't you mean under it?

Pretty sure that's what he means.

Do you get more wear if it's higher? Don't wanna cause and premature wear if I can deter it.

These are both of those "stops" I was referring too.

Correct, I was referring to the portion that is in contact with the sear, but it is adjusted from the bottom.

I'd imagine you would get more wear. Nice thing about that screw is though is that it would be very easy to make a new one. It is simply a long set screw that has been ground on one end.

That's the one I have now. Definitely don't have those.

If you don't have the stops....Even a phantom has that "stop" in the frame.

fastev:

I assume when cocked if you slam it back hard enough you leak air?

Huh....If i can get ahold of lauren/Earon I'll ask them about it....When i send back the valve body and 12 gram changer to get re-anno'd I might have them take them out.

(unless theres a real big reason for them)

How does one adjust the "sear"?

That "screw" doesn't seem adjustable.

I tried with all my might to try and turn it both ways (even put the trigger plate in a vice)

If I pull the trigger "slowly" most of the time the bolt will creep back wards a little and not fire. It's really annoying.

I believe If I adjust the sear a tiny bit higher the problem should stop. Is it loctited/glued(lol) in there?
