Exact name of this carter...

I was told it was a comp (in a sort of round about way)... but isn't it a Buzzard? It's going to be my first Carter.

Also, were can I get a cheap stock for this? And is there an open class adapter for this one? Thanks...

Its a comp. A buzzard has two external pump arms that connect through the side. This is "under" and thus a comp.

that's a comp. you can tell because the buzzards had twin pump arms that were on the sides of the body. that one has a single pump arm under the barrel.

edit: damn, heebs beat me to it.

lol ok. I have heard of issues with the whole ATing thing... does that apply here or no... and is there an open class feed avalible for it? Right now it's staying stock class, but later I may want open class.

If you dryfire you run the risk of autotriggering, but it can be fixed. Basically the valve body will seperate slightly from the snub (the stainless steel part). If you loosen a couple screws and snug everything up it should go away. Don't worry too much about it unless it happens to you. I know a lot of people that get hung up on the AT'ing and won't shoot a Carter.
An open class adapter is available through cartermachine.com.

good input pressure starts around 800psi, this is because it is designed to run on 12grams (un-regulated CO2)

Ahhh I see. Well that about does it except for one thing: Besides the pump arms, is there anything different about this opposed to the Buzzard?
